Celebrating the first year of Cancer Patients Voice

Date:
20 January 2022

It has been one year since we launched Cancer Patients Voice, our online platform that gives patients, carers and members of the public the opportunity to get involved in cancer research and care.

An image of two people in conversation. The focus is on the person, wearing a blue top with white stripes, listening to another person who is out of focus but centred in the image.

To celebrate, we wanted to share how the first year of the platform went in numbers.

  • 4,900 visits to the website
  • 125 patients and members of the public registered
  • 208 surveys were completed
  • 210 of your ideas were shared
  • 320 documents were download

Of the 28 projects that we published on the website:

  • 14 were research projects
  • 11 were service improvement projects
  • 3 were service evaluation projects

Thank you to all those who have contributed to the platform. You have helped to improve cancer treatments and services at The Royal Marsden and beyond.
