Tatiany Silveira

Tatiany qualified in Veterinary Medicine at Espirito Santo Federal University (Brazil) and did her Veterinary Pathology Residency in Sao Paulo State University (Brazil), where she also earned her MSc in Pathology from the Medical School. She gained her PhD in Pathology from the Medical School of Minas Gerais Federal University (Brazil) and subsequently worked as a visiting researcher at the Roslin Institute within the University of Edinburgh (UK). She has been working with immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (mIF) since 2013, focusing on comparative oncology.

As a Researcher Pathologist in the IPU, Taty is responsible for tissue tumour content assessments, IHC/IF optimisations, image analyses using AI as well as overseeing the overall running of the wet lab.
