Welcome to the BRC Training Hub

The NIHR BRC training programme provides a range of training and career development opportunities for all staff involved in clinical research.  We have developed a comprehensive, high-quality training infrastructure across all stages of clinical academic training. We are developing innovative new programmes to support capacity development in informatics and equality in research and in non-medical professions such as dietetics, radiography and nursing.

This includes skills and career development workshops and webinars, information on training opportunities and travel bursaries, and study days relating to our cancer research themes.

A key priority for us is to increase the number of Nurses,  Allied Health Professionals, Pharmacists and Healthcare Scientists engaging in clinical academic research through enhancing and highlighting the support already available, and introducing additional opportunities and programmes.

Our capacity building is aimed at expanding the skills base necessary for design, delivery, analysis and reporting of large-scale complex and often innovative clinical trials/studies.
